As part of its global business expansion, taxi service Gett is starting a goods delivery service in Russia, beginning with the “Gett sushi” project. Starting today at 12:00, Gett will deliver a sushi set for two within 10 minutes of the order being made, within Moscow's Boulevard Ring. Those wanting to place an order will have to update their Gett smartphone app to the latest version.

At the moment, the service is only available on weekdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and to users who have a credit card registered with the site. The sushi will be charge to the card.

The company has partnered with the sushi chain WabiSabi, and courier service Bringo, whose employees have been trained by Gett and will deliver the sushi.

The new service is just one of many the company has undergone this spring, including its rebranding from GetTaxi to Gett. ?€?Gett sushi?€? is considered a tests for additional services, including deliveries of flowers, gifts, and medical and beauty services.
