The front doors of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) headquarters, which were set on fire by political performance artist Pyotr Pavlensky last month, have been replaced, images shared on social media on Thursday showed.
On Nov. 9, at about 1 a.m. Pavlensky poured petrol over the wooden doors of the FSB's main office at Moscow's Lubyanka Square, and set them on fire in a performance titled “Threat. The Burning Doors of Lubyanka” to protest against repressive government policies.
Pavlensky was arrested and charged with vandalism. Earlier in December, the court prolonged his detention until Jan.7.
If found guilty, the artist faces up to three years in prison.
