Banksy Supports Voina

Prominent British graffiti artist Banksy will donate all royalties from a limited series of his prints to the Russian radical art group Voina, two members of which face up to seven years in prison on hooliganism charges in Russia.

The 175 prints in the “Choose Your Weapon” series, depicting a hooded man with a cartoonish barking dog on a leash, are to be sold via the web site Picturesonwalls.com for £450 ($710) apiece on Monday, amounting to a $124,000 donation to Voina if they are all sold.

Leonid Nikolayev and Oleg Vorotnikov of Voina were arrested last month for flipping over police cars, some with officers inside, in St. Petersburg.
