There are also drawbacks, but they are not as important: traffic jams and that the pleasure listed above are not exactly cheap.

Peking Duck

   
The name of this chain of cafes shows its attachment to China, and the house special Peking Duck is truly excellent! Other dishes from the Chinese, Japanese and Thai sections on the menu are no less amazing, and prices are humane.

The famous chain appeared in Moscow a bit more than 2 years ago. Back then the whole town trooped to the first branch at Mega in Khimki. Now there are over 15 branches in the capital and their number is increasing constantly. Like everywhere in the world, Moscow now has delicious cakes and coffee in the well-known branded mugs.

Sushi Lasti

   
This establishment tried to stylize the interior to be as Japanese as possible with bamboo, fans, Japanese writing and dolls. On the whole it worked out well: comfortable and not too pretentious. The menu is pretty much standard for Moscow sushi bars. Note that dishes are made only from fresh ingredients, and the chefs had training courses with the Japanese chef from a top Moscow restaurant.

Volga-Volga

    
This restaurant has been conducting its story since 1939, situated in a building of the Northern river port in a park on the banks of the river Moscow. The solemn interior is an example of Stalinist empire style. In warm weather the rotonda is open, grown over with vines, there is a fountain in the centre and tables are situated around it. They serve dishes from European and Russian cuisine. There are aquariums with sturgeons swimming that can be caught and cooked for you. It is worth a visit to feel the unique ‘Soviet aristocratic’ atmosphere.
