As winter drags on, Moscow residents become accustomed to the daily challenges it brings: slippery sidewalks, slushy doorways and the scrape of shovels early in the morning as courtyard workers clear the snow that accumulates most evenings. Lurking above from rooftops, gutters and trees are an always-beautiful, occasionally dangerous winter construction: icicles.
