Skolkovo to Get $2Bln

The government will spend about $2 billion on building an innovation hub in Skolkovo over the next three years, according to a report published Thursday on the Finance Ministry’s web site.

About 15 billion rubles from the federal budget will be spent on the project in 2011, followed by 22 billion rubles in 2012 and 17.1 billion rubles in 2013, the report said. Presidential aide Arkady Dvorkovich earlier said the government would chip in 110 billion rubles over five years.
