Sanctions will not succeed in pushing foreign firms to leave Russia if those firms are truly interested in doing business with the country, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
"Those who are interested in cooperating with us in any area, be it science, manufacturing, or investment in our economy — they won't go anywhere, because it is an absolutely natural process," Medvedev said Tuesday at a meeting with local businessmen.
"We have no restrictions [on business with foreigners], and we will continue all forms of cooperation with all the companies that are operating here," Medvedev said. "I'd like to reiterate — the choice is with those who are seeking to do business in our country."
