Russia's flag carrier Aeroflot has stopped flights between Moscow and Toronto starting from Oct. 26, the company said in a statement.
The statement was published on Tuesday by Russia's Air Transport Settlement System, or ATSS, an industry regulatory body monitoring airline ticket sales.
Aeroflot's official website has yet to announce the change, but its ticketing system says there are no tickets available from Moscow to Toronto for dates after October 26.
Passengers who purchased Aeroflot tickets for the cancelled dates are allowed to return them at the place of purchase or exchange for tickets of other airline-members of the Sky Team alliance, ATSS said in the statement.
In September another major Russian airline, Transaero, cancelled its flights to Toronto citing a drop in passenger volumes for this route.
With Aeroflot gone, no Russian airlines currently run regular flights to Canada.
