Around 500 dancers from around the world strutted their stuff in Moscow last week at Milonguero Nights, a festival of Argentinian tango. Organized by the city's dance club La Milonga, the festival celebrated its second year this August. The musical accompaniment was provided by an orchestra from Buenos Aires. Unlike the better known American and International tangos, which follow a simple five-step pattern, the Argentinian version is more complicated and flexible, with plenty of room for creative footwork.
