On July 7, the "Moscow Nights" festival presents an extraordinary opportunity to see international opera stars in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Some of the world's best opera singers chose Moscow as part of their European tour, and their concert promises to be one of the most significant cultural events of this summer.
Anna Netrebko (soprano), Ildar Abrazakov (bass), Alexander Antonenko (tenor), and Yekaterina Gubanova (mezzo-soprano) will perform arias from Italian operas, accompanied by the Svetlanov State Symphony Orchestra of Russia, conducted by Marco Armiliato.
The concert is dedicated to the memory of the great Russian singer, Yelena Obraztsova, who would have celebrated her 76th birthday on July 7. Today's brightest stars of modern opera, Anna Netrebko and Ildar Abrazakov, as well as Obraztsova's favorite singers, will take the stage to remember her. ?
Part of the revenue from ticket sales will go to the Yelena Obraztsova Foundation to support musical arts. Another part will benefit the families of adopted children through the Arifmetika Dobra Foundation.
